RIVER & RIO

River and Rio were saved from starvation by a good samaritan. This brother and sister duo appear to be lab mixes with gorgeous hazel eyes.

River and Rio are just about 14 weeks old. Both are fixed, microchippped, and vaccinated. They can be adopted together or separately.

THUNDER

Thunder is a gorgeous Catahoula Whippet mix who is now available for adoption. Thunder was found, with his sister Lightning, in Kona where it appears they were abandoned as no one has come forward to claim him.

Thunder is approximately 5 months old, has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.

LIGHTNING

Lightning (along with her brother Thunder) were found running loose in Kona. Sadly no one came forward to claim these two sweeties. Lightning is a little more shy than her brother but warms up quickly. They love to hang out together, play fetch, and give their fosters lots of cuddles!

Lightning is approximately 5 months old, has been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. She is currently about 30lbs and will most likely between 40-45lbs.

BELLA

Did you ask for upbeat & sassy?!!! Meet Bella! This sweet girl, is full of life, packed with energy, and very food motivated. Bella walks best in a harness or vest! She does great in a fenced yard and loves to do the zoomies!

Bella can be a little hesitant with strangers, but once introduced, especially if you have treats, she warms up quickly. Bella is about 40lbs, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Bella is doing great with her foster sister, but needs slow introduction to other dogs. She does not do well cats.

Bella needs an owner who is able to be firm with her, but show her love and compassion.

GINGER & MR. K

Ginger & Mr. K are looking for their next forever home! Sadly, their previous owner was in a horrible accident and is no longer care for these two. Both are Chihuahua mixes approximately 9-10 years old. These cutie pie seniors are very sweet and are just looking for warm laps to snuggle next too!

Mr. K has been recently neutered and both have had dental cleanings, full checkups, including vaccinations and heartworm tests, and are microchipped. It is preferable they go to the same home as they are quite bonded.

BORIS

Meet Boris! He is a sweet ole dog, maybe 10 years old. Boris was left alone in his owners' house after they moved out. He is loving life now! Boris likes a short walk and then he likes to chill. Boris is loving and playful and looking for a furever home! ❤️ (must be supervised around cats just to be safe🤙🏽) His fur is growing back from being treated for mange, so it is not contangious. He is loyal and wants a furever companion.

LUCY

Lucy is a 4 month old Airedale/terrier mix. She is only 15 pounds. Lucy is super sweet and LOVES to play with other dogs.

LEWIS & CLARK

Lewis and Clark are 6 month old cattle dog mixes. They are part of a litter of 12 rescued from a hoarding situation. They are fixed and love other dogs!

LATTE

Latte is a very sweet girl. Her foster mom reports that she gently takes treats with a soft mouth and gets along well with the 3 bigger dogs in the household. Latte loves belly rubs. She walks great on the leash and is quickly learning recall. She waits patiently to have her kennel door opened and she is 90% housetrained.

TIA

Tia is a 4 year old, female Border Collie mix. Tia, and her brother Ringo, have been outdoor dogs who would love to become part of the indoor family! She is shy but very loving once she gets to know you. Miss Tia is a low maintenance kind of girl, perfect for hanging out. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations.

SPARKY

Aloha! My name is Sparky (once known as Hanz)! I'm in a terrific foster home and I am loving the other dogs in the home and the kids... but, I need a new forever home...

I am a small whippet mix who loves to play and run. The humans who have me say I'm the best dog, but I am an escape artist so it's really important you have a secured area so I don't get myself into trouble. DUKE

My name is Duke and I’m a handsome 12-16 month old Shepard/Chow mix who loves to walk, run and play with my favorite purple football. I’m house trained, good with other dogs and love belly rubs and chest scratches. I’m really hoping to find my forever people who would love a loyal, active companion who would also make a great guard dog.
Duke is neutered, chipped, has all his shots including dewormer
- He’s very good with our two adult, female dogs
- Not good with chickens or cats
- He’s only met two kids once and he had no problems. Sniffed them and had his tail wagging.
- Very well house trained
- Pretty good on a leash but still needs continued training on basic commands
- Pulls on leash if he sees chickens or cats
- Not a dog for a sedentary person or to be left alone in a small apartment all day. Would do best with active companion and a fenced in yard would be ideal but not a necessity.

BUDDY

Buddy is an active pup that loves to run and hang around the house, chase tennis balls and anything else that moves. Because he’s a larger dog he scares the cat and our small dog but doesn’t bite or show any aggression, just play. Call 333-6299 to meet him!

MUFFIN

Meet Muffin! He is 9 years old. Very chill, sleeps a lot and just hangs out. He's also good with dogs and cats. Call 333-6299 to meet him!

COCO

Coco is a female Aussie/Black Mouth Cur available for adoption. This sweet girl is a wonderfully delightful companion! She is approximately a year old and weighs 35lbs.

Coco is a fluffy, energetic ball of fur with a playful demeanor and a natural inclination to herd other pets. She loves to play with other dogs, but is hyper focused on birds and cats.

Coco has a playful nature and enjoys interactive games and toys, always eager for a romp or a game of fetch. Her herding instincts might manifest in gentle attempts to corral other pets or even her human companions during playtime.

In terms of temperament, expect a bright and trainable pup who craves mental and physical stimulation. She'd likely thrive in an environment where she's given plenty of opportunities to learn and engage with her surroundings.

DIDI

Meet Didi, the loving squirrel. She will follow you around the garden and ask for pets often. She’s 2 to 3 yrs old and 50 pounds, just getting over those spazzy puppy days to settle into one awesome companion. Didi may not be a friend to cats, but she ignores chickens, and gets along with our 30 lb rescue doggy Tuffy. She loves to play fetch, and understands simple commands like sit and down. She also feels safe in her crate (we only close it at night when she sleeps), which will go with her when she is adopted. Please reach out to 333 6299 if you’d like to meet her!

ASTRID

Astrid is a sweet and loving Pittie, who loves people, getting petted and playing with stuffie toys. She’s about 3.5 years old and ready for her new forever family. Astrid loves to go for walks and would best as an only pet. Her tail is always wagging. She is happy to see everyone!

HERA

Hera (aka Momma) is ready for her forever home. She was secured after wandering in Hawaiian Acres for a few weeks and sadly we haven't had any luck finding anyone looking for her. We don't know much about where she came from or her history, but she's come a long way from the woeful dog she was when we found her. She's just over 50 lbs, 3-4 years old, heartworm negative, and recently spayed - no more litters for her! She's discovered the wonderful world of peanut butter treats and ear scratches, and is ready for a family that will love her like she deserves.

Hera is quite a goofball, very sweet with the best smile, and pitter-patters her toes when she gets excited. She is content and calm with daily exercise.

Hera is very smart, eager to please, and could quickly become a great pet. Since she's been with her foster humans, she hasn't met a person she doesn't like, although she is not fond of cats or chickens.

She is feeling much better, but her current foster situation isn't ideal. We are hoping to find a forever home quickly, or at least another foster that is better suited to continue helping Hera be a great addition to a family.

NONA & SOFIE

Because two are better than one, right? Nona and Sofie are two sweet girls found abandoned in Ocean View. They were pregnant and gave birth to 15 pups within days of rescue.
Nona and Sofie are a bonded pair and need to be placed together.
Nona is very social, but Sofie is still very scared, and needs time to build trust. Sofie loves her foster dad and will go to him anytime. The girls will do well in a fenced yard hanging out-- they are great watch dogs! Nona and Sofie will alert you when strangers come by, but will stop barking as soon as the stranger goes past. They are responsive to voice commands to stop barking if needed.
They are leash-trained, and love walks.
