Lucky’s journey hasn’t been easy—he was found by a kind-hearted Good Samaritan after being dumped and left to fend for himself. When they found him, he was just skin and bones, but Lucky is one tough pup who never gave up.

He's especially great with other dogs and enjoys making new friends, but he’s not so fond of cats or chickens. BELLA
Hi My name is Bella, I am around 1-2 years old. I was found in the ahualoa area by a very kind human who brought me home showered me with lots of love, toys and of course food. With the help of Kares I was able to get the surgery I needed to fix my broken leg. Now that I am all healed, I am looking for my Furever home. I am good with other dogs as long as I'm properly introduced, I am very curious when it comes to cats, but I can't seem to control myself when it comes to chickens & Turkeys. I enjoy going on walks and running around the yard, as I have a lot of puppy energy to let out not to mention I love giving out kisses / receiving kisses from my human, along with getting those head scratches. I have a habit of automatically lifting up my leg that I got surgery on, but with lots of patience, encouragement, and massages, I will over come this habit. Pop’pi (the girl) weighs in at 18lbs and is a little more independent than her brother, but still incredibly affectionate. She loves being around her people and is a great companion, though she’s a bit more reserved when it comes to cuddles. Pop’pi is also quite intelligent and quick to pick up new things, making her a great fit for an active home. While she’s a bit nervous around larger dogs, she’s cat-friendly and loves to be around other pets she feels safe with. My name is Honey, I am a Gsp / catahoula mix. I am approximately 1.5 to 2 years old. I’m a little shy but very sweet and love nothing more than love and cuddles! Once I’m comfortable I’m very spunky and love to run! I like to play with other dogs once i’ve gotten comfortable. I do great with small dogs, but I love to chase chickens and cats. Meet Stryker, Joy, Mooney, and Honey! Stryker is the biggest of the bunch and tough little rough and tumble boy. This is little sweet Joy! She’s such a sweetheart and cutie! Next is Mooney! GEORGE
George needs a foster! This sweet boy was dumped in Holualoa and saved by a good samaritan who now has a medical emergency. George was found emaciated, cold and scared. His rescuer called KARES for help and we immediately helped with getting George food and medicine.
George is between 1-2 years old and is a whippet/hound mix. We are happy to report that he has gained weight. He was 28lbs when found and was 39 pounds at his vet appointment yesterday. He is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Latte is a very sweet girl. Her foster mom reports that she gently takes treats with a soft mouth and gets along well with the 3 bigger dogs in the household. Latte loves belly rubs. She walks great on the leash and is quickly learning recall. She waits patiently to have her kennel door opened and she is 90% housetrained.

Get ready for hugs with me, Didi! I'm 65 lbs and super loving at 3 yrs old. I love to follow my hooman around in the garden. I'm also excited to show my toys. I'm very proud that I have learned to sit and lay down for treats. I love treats! I'm not that into barking, unless I see a cat. I sometimes get to go on hikes too, with my friend Tuffy, who also lives at my foster home. We get along even though he's a little smaller than me.
