KARES is committed to continuing its positive, lifesaving efforts for the animals and people of Hawaii Island and we need your help.

KARES has no paid staff. We rely on our dedicated volunteers to assist with this important work. Even a few hours per week or month would be appreciated.

 

You can serve in many ways:

• Help at adoption events on weekends

• Assist with transporting animals to vet appointments

• Plan a fundraiser event

• Participate in community events to help educate about animal welfare

• Spread the word to make Hawaii a NO KILL island
